It's Riptide (future charrie)!
Story behind the picture:
I was listening to It Ends Tonight by the All-American Rejects today and I started to just draw a wolf. The music sorta affected me, since, when I draw when I listen to music, my art goes with the mood of the song. So I decided to draw sorta a sad picture. Riptide's a soldier, and he saw a small pup from the enemy go into battle. He thought he was young to fight, but he pushed it aside. Later, however, when the battle is over, Riptide finds the pup's body and feels guilty and disgusted at all the war. This picture shows his greif, even though he never knew the wolf. About halfway through the picture, I thought, 'Hey! I could base a story around this!' I write about just about anything (as Piku well knows). So keep an eye out for my story at the Writer's Corner!

I actually use a tablet, so I'm kinda cheating. I draw the same way I do on paper, I guess. A tablet is like a pencil shape that acts like a mouse. I suck eggs with drawing with a mouse.

UR SO LUCKY U HAVE A TABLET!!! i have 2 use my mouse so yeah but even knowing that, it stinks!!! at school we used 2 have a tablet tht we used 4 math problems

and kat, that is a violent picture...but it's good. moon, you can create awesome graphics too! i stick at drwing with a mouse, but i have some very interesting things i made on paint...here are some:

Well, I figured I might be able to see it in a PG 13 movie, like White Fang, so I thought it'd be okay
I sketch everything in Paint, and then I ink it, color it, shade it, and do the backgrounds in Photoshop Elements 5.0. Paint is actually a very good program. It works for animations if you have Windows Movie Maker, but sometimes it goes too slow Dx
I would highly suggest getting a tablet if you can. Makes everything a lot easier. Mine was abnout $100, but I used my saved up Best Buy giftcards, which paid for about half of it. The rest was paid out of pocket D:

Look! Another one of my music effected pictures! This time I was listening to Stand in the Rain by Superchic (wow, no DUH). I think I do pictures better when I listen to music. Dagger's pic was done while I was listening to The Animal I have Become by Three Days Grace, but I did Sunset's without anything, and it sucks.

Oh... my... gosh.
So hard x-x
I started out drawing a random wolf, and I thought it ended up looking like Kaz. After I finished him, I thought, 'Eh, I'll just add Kosu.' So I did. And then came the inking.
The first time the brush was on only 50% opacity (meaining it was semi-transparent) and I didn't notice until I had finished ALL the inking. So I started over. Then, I was almost done with Kaz, and I inked the wrong layer. Finally, on my third try, I got it. Finally x-x
Kosu looked soooo much better in the sketch but.... eh, whatever.
